افعال حسی در زبان انگلیسیافعال حسی (Verbs of Sense یا Sensory Verbs)، افعالی هستند که حواس پنجگانه (دیدن، شنیدن، بوییدن، لمس کرن و چشیدن) را توصیف می‌کنند و جزء افعال حالتی هستند. برخی افعال حسی عبارتند از:see, hear, smell, look, watch, seem, taste, feel, soundمثال:Can you see that airplane?(آیا می‌توانید آن هواپیما را ببینید؟)She looked at the painting carefully.(.او با دقت به نقاشی نگاه کرد)I heard the phone ringing.(.زنگ تلفن را شنیدم)He sounds like his mother.(.او به نظر شبیه مادرش است)She felt his chair move.(.او احساس کرد صندلی‌اش حرکت می‌کند)Can you taste this soup for me?(آیا می‌توانید این سوپ را برای من بچشید؟)They watched the film together.(.آنها فیلم را با هم تماشا کردند)Cigarette smoke smells terrible.(.دود سیگار بوی وحشتناکی می‌دهد)ساختار فعل بعد از افعال حسی به 2 گونه است:ساختار اول: اشاره به کل عملشکل ساده فعل + مفعول + فعل حسیمثال:I saw her play football.(.من بازی فوتبال او را دیدم)در این مثال گوینده کل بازی او را دیده است؛ یعنی از ابتدا تا انتهای عمل بازی کردن را مشاهده کرده است.ساختار دوم: اشاره به بخشی از عمل (عمل در حال انجام)شکل ing + مفعول + فعل حسیمثال:I saw her playing football.(.من دیدم که او فوتبال بازی می‌کرد)در این مثال گوینده وقتی او را دید در حال فوتبال بازی کردن بوده است. در واقع گوینده کل بازی را مشاهده نکرده و احتمالاً بعد از اینکه گوینده مشاهده کردن را متوقف کرده، بازی ادامه داشته است.کاربرد افعال حسیافعال حسی برای توصیف کردن اشیاء نیز استفاده می‌شوند در این صورت دارای 2 ساختار می‌باشند.ساختار اول:صفت + فعل حسیدر این ساختار از افعال حسی همراه, ...ادامه مطلب

Rather it is we, human beings, who need the Qur’ān to be introduced to ourselves, to be provided with an initial knowledge of as to who we are, what we are, whence we come, where we stand, and whither we are bound. Without such a knowledge, we are lost, living as losers regardless of whatever we may imagine to be our achievements. The Qur’ān is, in its own words, “light,”1 which means that it is self-manifesting, with no need of an exteal agent to be made manifest; other things need light to become visible and manifest. With it Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace, and brings them out from darkness into light by His will, and guides them to a straight path (5:16). In this respect it is like its Author and Speaker, who is the Light of the heavens and the earth (24:35). Existence being light, all contingent existents stand in need of the Source of Being for their existence, whereas the Source itself is self-subsisting and self-manifesting.
